ABOUT ME

I’m Sami, an amateur photographer based in Helsinki, Finland.

Photography is the way for me to stop and explore the surroundings. The way to record places and moments. The way to find details that might be completely missed out just quickly passing by.

I shoot both digitally and also old fashioned analogue way to the film. I develop and print the images I shoot on film in the darkroom myself. In addition to shooting photos, I also like to hobby with old film cameras and experimenting with different, sometimes slightly more unusual, darkroom processes.
